Previous roles: Director, Learning Group at O'Reilly Media and Director, Community Evangelism for Apache Spark. Author of Fifty Years of Data Management and Beyond, Just Enough Math, Enterprise Data Workflows with Cascading, and co-editor for the upcoming Rich Search and Discovery for Research Datasets. Cited among "Top 30 People in Big Data and Analytics" by Innovation Enterprise in 2015.
